Staging Service
What is a home stager? We are part designer, decorator, coach, psychologist and advocate for your property. We merchandise your home for sale. Typically working with your existing furniture and accessories I will create a staging plan to establish a focal point, clear flow and function of each room. My goal is to enhance the appearance of your home to attract the highest number of potential buyers.
Consultation
This in-home assessment will include my recommendations on curb appeal, clean/decluttering, items to remove, suggested updates and repairs, furniture placement and décor input to prepare for showings. Consultations typically last 1½ to 2 hours.
Occupied Home Staging
Often times a client has all the components but may need a little help in making it cohesive. Lighting, color choice, furniture and accessories all play into the function, mood and harmony of a room and its attractiveness to buyers.
Following on from the consultation I assist you implement my staging recommendations. Working with the home owner to arrange furniture, place accessories and select artwork to highlight your homes best features and minimize any faults. Occasionally I may need supplement a piece to achieve the final market ready look. I will source these items for you.
Interior Styling Services
Does your room need a refresh or an entirely new look? Have you just moved into a new home and are overwhelmed with the idea of decorating a blank canvas?
Together we will walk through the project to identify your design style, project goals and budget. I offer advice on selecting paint colors, furniture, décor accessories and artwork to make your vision come alive.
Following on from our initial consultation I will create your personalized design plan for you. This will include a custom mood board for the project. This is a wonderful launching point for creating a new look and provides a great way to convey design ideas. It is an exciting way to see your design ideas evolve and come to reality. This may include furniture, lighting options, paint colors, soft furnishing and décor accessories.
I will source all items providing you with price and vendor information for your all ‘big ticket’ items. This may include (but not limited to) furniture, rugs, window treatments and lighting. Home owner will purchase.
Additionally, I will source and purchase all décor accessories and artwork for your project with client approval. I am a budget savvy shopper and procure pieces from several sources. I favor blending existing pieces with new. This helps your home feel authentic to you. I provide final room styling to make your design elements come together in a cohesive and impactful way.
